The Greater Yellowlegs is seen in the Ibera wetlands in the spring along with other migrants.

It is very similar to the Lesser Yellowlegs but side by side one can see the difference in size.

It measures around 30cm , has pale underparts and mottled brown upperparts.  The legs are long and bright yellow.

The bill is long and slightly upturned.
