This species is ubiquitous throughout most of Argentina and is usually found in large flocks.  We see them sometimes at the reserve.

The colour is predominantly dull yellow with buffy upperparts streaked with brown and an olive rump.  Underparts are yellow and it has a yellow supercilium.

The female is similar but more buffy. The Argentine name is Misto.
