Saltator aurantiirostris
This passerine from the family Emberizidae is not common at our reserve, unlike the Grayish Saltator, Â but we have seen it on a few occasions.Â
It has a distinctive call, as do the other members of the genus.
It has buffy underparts and brown back and wings. Â The noticeable features are the orange bill, black face and crown, white throat and long white supercilium.
