About Campaign

We are delighted to have been awarded a grant to study the Ibera Seedeater (Sporophila iberaense) We will start the work in the Argentine spring (Sept/Oct) and are looking for volunteers to help with the study. This small seedeater was only described in 2016, although we have seen it at our reserve since 2010. It has very specialised nesting requirements for which our habitat is perfect. Thank you to Mohamed bin Zayed Conservation Fund for sponsoring us.
