Tringa solitaria
The Solitary Sandpiper is quite rare in and around our reserve but we sometimes see it during migration.
It is a medium-sized Sandpiper with white underparts, a white eyering and lore and a speckled chest. The upperparts are dark, legs olive coloured and the tail barred.
