The Lark-like Brush Runner prefers the drier areas of the Ibera Marshes.  To date it has not been observed at Reserva Don Luis.

It is seen on the ground or in low trees in small groups.

Its most prominent feature is the upright crest.  It has cinnamon streaked underparts and dark upperparts, also streaked. The face is white with a cinnamon patch below the eye. The bill is quite long and curved and the legs orange.
