Troglodytes aedon
The House wren is very common and as its name implies it tends to associate with habited areas. Â We have a pair of this species that nest in a bird box attached to our research cabin.
It has pale brown underparts and darker brown, barred, upperparts. Â It has a long bill with dark eyes rimmed white.
