Zenaida auriculata
The Eared Dove is an attractively marked dove which is found throughout Argentina. Â It is very common and we see it here at the reserve.
It is medium sized at 22cm. Â It’s head and underparts are pinkish grey and the back and wings are plumbeous with dark spots on the latter. Â There is a pink sheen on the sides of the neck as well as a black line. Â They eyes are black and the legs are pink.
