While we count ourselves incredibly lucky to be so close to to such a rich population of animals, every sighting reminds us of their vulnerability. So many of them are in great peril of disappearing forever, mainly as a result of the presence and activity of Man.
The animals listed below, which can be found in the Esteros del Ibera, are all in danger of extinction.
