Pseudoleistes virescens
The Brown & Yellow Marshbird is a member of the Icteridae family. Â It is similar to the Yellow-rumped Marshbird but has less yellow.
It measures about 20cm and is usually found in flocks of up to 20.
We see it quite regularly around our reserve. Â Upperparts are dark brown whereas underparts, including the underwing, are bright yellow. Â There is also yellow on the shoulders.
