Progne tapera
We see the Brown-chested Martin at our reserve regularly and they are common throughout most of Argentina except for the far south.
Length is appx 16cm and upperparts are brown. Underparts are white except for a brown breastband which continues in a broken line longitudinally down the belly. Wings extend beyond tail which is slightly forked.
