Progne tapera
We see the Brown-chested Martin at our reserve regularly and they are common throughout most of Argentina except for the far south.
Length is appx 16cm and upperparts are brown. Â Underparts are white except for a brown breastband which continues in a broken line longitudinally down the belly. Â Wings extend beyond tail which is slightly forked.
